HR Coordinator — Carson, CA

 

30 hours per week

 

 

With the growth and success of our business in the US, we are looking to expand our support team with a new role of HR Coordinator. This position will focus on supporting both the CA and NC teams with all areas of HR including onboarding, employee relations, performance management, recruitment and making it a great place to work with focused staff engagement.

It will be a great opportunity if you love all things people, development of team members, adding value to a business and want to work with an industry leader. This role will work closely with the NZ based People and Culture team whilst being based in our Carson office.

 

 

What you'll do:

  • Employee set up, onboarding and offboarding on people platforms and asset requirements.
  • Maintaining our HRIS system (ADP) to ensure all information is accurate for US business and all people movements ate communicated accurately to relevant departments.
  • Responsible for processing all employment documents in a timely manner.
  • Working with the management teams with employee relations support and be the first point of contact for HR and benefit questions.
  • Support Warehouse team with recruitment as needed.
  • Assist with organizing and coordinating staff events.
  • Liaise with HOD’s and team members for personnel development and training.
  • Other general day-to-day tasks and admin to support the HR team and management as needed.

 

We want to work with someone who has:

  • Understands the full function of HR and has had 3 years in a generalist role and experience in all areas.
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in HR / Business / Similar Field or 3 years in a people focused role - this could be in Retail, FMCG, Logistics, Hospitality, Customer Service or Tourism etc.
  • Working knowledge and well versed in CA & NC Labour Law including OSHA and CALOSHA.
  • Experience with HRIS or other department systems such as ADP, BambooHR, Employment Hero, PurelyHR, Elmo, Selima or similar platforms.
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English as well as strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail is essential, excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize a demanding workload.
  • Approachable nature, professional and confidential manner.
  • Ability to work autonomously, be self-motivated while also enjoying being a part of a fab team.
  • Has the right to live and work in the US permanently.

Warehouse Storeperson — Carson, CA

We are seeking self-motivated, reliable and energetic warehouse storeperson to join our friendly team.  This is a great opening and if you have been looking for a role that will utilise your operation skills and be part of an expanding business, this could be the job for you!

 

Morning Shift – Warehouse Storeperson, Full-time – Mon to Fri (0600-1430)

Mid Shift - Warehouse Storeperson, Full-time - Mon to Fri (0800-1630)

Swing Shift - Warehouse Storeperson, Full-time - Mon to Fri (1200-2030)



What you'll do:

  • Replenishment of orders.
  • Accurately checking and packing orders.
  • Picking orders with an RF Scanning Device.
  • Maintaining a safe and tidy work environment.

 

We want to work with someone who has:

  • 1-year minimum experience in general warehousing.
  • A good level of fitness - able to lift moderate to heavy cartons.
  • Excellent communication skills and accurate attention to detail.
  • Good understanding of safe manual handling techniques and warehouse H&S requirements.
  • Be reliable, able to cope in a busy work environment and meet deadlines.
  • To be an enthusiastic team player who shows initiative.
  • Forklift tickets preferred but not essential.
  • The right to work and live in the US with no restrictions.
